Less maintenance with a hub motor

A mid-drive motor sits at the bottom bracket and pulls on the chain with all its power. As a result, the chain and sprockets wear much faster. They often need replacing every year, and that costs you money again every year.

A front or rear hub motor sits in the hub and drives the wheel directly. The chain is not put under extra load, so you do not have this problem.

Prefer a mid-drive motor after all? We supply those too, with the same fixed power per level.

E-bike conversion kits, batteries and parts – Van Beijck from Neede

Van Beijck converts ordinary bikes into electric bikes. That way you keep your own trusted bike and still ride electric. With our conversion kit you choose, step by step, the right front hub motor, rear hub motor or mid-drive motor, the battery and the display for your bike – also for cargo bikes, tricycles, recumbents, tandems and handbikes. All cables, sensors and the controller are included, so everything fits straight away.

Van Beijck is unique in wattage systems and has more than 15 years of experience. Unlike many e-bikes with a torque sensor, our kits work with a fixed power per assistance level. So you do not need to pedal hard to get up to speed: with little effort you ride at 25 km/h. In a low level you do a little more yourself and the battery lasts longer; in a high level the motor does the work.

If you choose a front or rear hub motor, you also have little maintenance. A mid-drive motor pulls on the chain, so the chain and sprockets wear quickly and often need replacing every year. A hub motor drives the wheel directly and puts no extra load on the chain. We have customers who have ridden more than 40,000 km this way, without any maintenance apart from the brakes.

We also sell individual e-bike parts: 36V and 24V batteries, chargers for almost any plug, displays, controllers, motors, cables and lighting. We supply from our own stock and ship from Neede to the Netherlands, Belgium and the rest of Europe.

Sitgo – the electric walking bike

The Sitgo is an electric walking bike for people with limited mobility who still want to get around independently. You sit low and stable, with both feet flat on the ground, and the motor does the rest. The Sitgo is MDR certified and available from our Sitgo dealers.
