Bewo mid-drive motor worm gear 250W black

The worm gear is the rotor with worm shaft inside your Bewo mid-drive motor. It transfers the motor's power to the motor gear. When it is worn, the motor still runs but no longer assists.

Which worm gear do you need?

There are three versions. They differ in power and size, and the quickest way to tell them apart is by their look. Compare your old worm gear with the photos:

250W – smooth silver350W – with magnet slots250W black – different size

Always choose the same version as your current worm gear; another version will not fit or will not work properly with your controller.

⚠️ Fitting: because of the motor's design, the gear tightens itself with every pedal stroke. Have the motor opened by a specialised e-bike mechanic, or send it to us for a Bewo mid-drive motor refurbishment: we then also replace the freewheel bearing.
